Mitosis

What we had done during this week was we talked about mitosis. Mitosis is a cell cycle theat divides the nucleus into Two parts called asexual reproduction meaning that I reproduces on its own. There are for phases. Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase.
In Prophase The nucleus starts to dissapear and the chromatids start to coil and fold or uncoil. Then in Metaphase The chromatids start to aline in the center of the cell. Anaphase begins when the two parts of the X's start to seperate from each other. Finally Telophase, in telophase a new nuclear membrane is formed. Then lastly we have Cytokinesis. the two new nuclear membranes start to split apart to become two cells.

over the week

What we have been learning over the past week we have been observing how organisims reproduce. We saw that in the organisims or cells there were two nuclei. That ment that the cell was in the process of reproducing it self too make two cells. When they split apart that means it has reproduce.
What my partner and I found was that there were four nuclei in one cell. Hmmm? how could that be? Well we brought it to the teacher and he said "maybe that isn't a nuclei. Maybe it is just clumps of DNA." For now we are going with that observation but we can tell until we get a further observation.
