Reebops

Punnett squares are tables that can determine the outcome of an offspring between things like bugs, flowers, and humans. first we need the genotypes of what you are taking the genes from and form the punnett squares then put one set of genotype on the top each are alligned with the two boxes. the other goes on the right side then they sort of fuse together in the boxes.
The reason why I am doing this is because it involves the experiment we used in class to do with the bugs. it shows how we can use these punnett squares in real life to determine what kind of baby we would recieve or have.

like this. This example really shows how an punnett square is used. It may look hard to do at first but it is so easy once you get the hang of it. scientists have been able to control the outcomes of these by doing selective breeding or in otherwise choosing what things will breed with what. Cool right? so we used this for practice in class to actually help us understand things to you

Genes

Selective Breeding. Selective Breeding is the ability of man kind can choose how an outcome of a plant is. How is this possible might you ask? Well if plants can breed with plants than a great scientist thought "what if they could be selectivly bred?" So he experimented. In his experiment he made a diagram called a punnet square

As shown above. So this helped him recognize how these outcomes were possible. So he figured out how selective breeding was possible.
What really helped me understand this was the website experiments on this. When we did the experiments online it was fun and enjoyable.
